In July 2025, the International Egg Foundation (IEF) met with the UNICEF Ethiopia team, alongside representatives from the Ethiopian Ministry of Agriculture, the Ministry of Health, and Vision Foods, to explore ways to improve access to egg-based nutrition for malnourished communities.
The meeting, attended by IEF CEO Cassy Price and Trustee Steve Manton, focused on practical mechanisms to deliver egg nutrition to vulnerable populations through egg powder products.
