Meet our Supporter | Hendrix Genetics

Hendrix Genetics joined the International Egg Foundation as a Partnership Member in 2025, bringing their expertise in layer genetics to support egg production, nutrition and education.

Their partnership is already making a tangible contribution in Mozambique.

Hendrix Genetics provided over 2,000 pullets to the Ebenezer Agricultural Training Centre in Nampula, where the new poultry training facility is giving students hands-on experience in commercial egg production.

The birds are now well established in the facility’s first mid-sized layer house, where production has consistently exceeded 95%. Alongside producing nutritious eggs, the facility is designed to equip students with practical knowledge and skills they can use to build resilient farms and livelihoods.

Earlier this month, we shared how one egg can have far-reaching impact and celebrated protein that powers and protects. The work at Ebenezer shows what those words can look like in practice – and the important role industry partnership plays in making it possible.

Thank you to Hendrix Genetics Layers for being an IEF Partner and for putting your expertise and resources behind the next generation of egg producers.

 Partnership in action.
