Expanding Egg Nutrition in Honduras

We are proud to support Honduras Outreach International (HOI) and the OneEgg First 1,000 Days of Life programme in the Agalta Valley, Honduras — helping ensure mothers and young children receive vital nutrition during the most critical stage of development.

In February 2026, the programme reached another exciting milestone. 1,500 donated layers from H&N International have arrived at HOI, further strengthening egg production capacity. These birds join another 1,500 layers that were generously donated and delivered earlier in 2025, accelerating the impact of this life-changing initiative for families across the region.

The programme is already delivering measurable results. By the final quarter of 2025, 74,501 eggs had been distributed thanks to the expansion of the egg barn, providing more than 700 family members with reliable access to high-quality protein and essential nutrition support.

Another inspiring milestone has also been reached: 64 children have now completed their full 1,000-day journey through the programme. This period — from pregnancy to a child’s second birthday — is widely recognised as the most critical window for healthy development, making this achievement a powerful step toward stronger, healthier futures for families in the Agalta Valley.

Together with HOI and programme partners, we are helping ensure mothers and children receive the nourishment they need during this crucial stage of life — supporting healthier communities today and for generations to come. 💛
