Tim is a founding Trustee of the IEF, served as Chairman for over five years, and now holds the role of Treasurer/Secretary. He is passionate about helping more people around the world access the incredible nutrition found in eggs, having held senior leadership roles within the global egg industry for nearly two decades.

Tim was the longest-serving CEO of Egg Farmers of Canada, leading the organisation for almost 20 years. He also served as Chairman of the International Egg Commission from 2019 to 2022 and is a past member of the Egg Industry Center Board of Advisors at Iowa State University.

A graduate of the University of Guelph with an Honours degree in Animal and Poultry Science, and with a lifelong career in agriculture, Tim brings a wealth of industry knowledge and experience to his leadership positions. In addition to his role at IEF, Tim is Chair of the Heart for Africa (Eswatini) Board of Directors. He was awarded the University of Guelph’s prestigious Alumni of Honour award in 2018 for his professional and volunteer contributions both nationally and globally.
